"Introduction of Disaster Prevention Helicopter Port" Takasaki City Disaster Prevention Gymnasium
Introducing an example of a disaster prevention heliport with a storage warehouse that combines safety and design.
We would like to introduce a case where a "disaster prevention heliport" was constructed at the Takasaki City Disaster Prevention Gymnasium. The city has replaced the aging Shinmachi Community Gymnasium with a gymnasium equipped with disaster prevention functions. The three-story gymnasium, which can accommodate 2,000 people, features a heliport on the roof, disaster supply storage on the second and third floors, and is built on a site that can accommodate 200 parking spaces, making it a facility capable of responding to a wide range of disasters.
